Cedars Cabins are located on 250 acres of land amidst the gently rolling hills of Texas. All of our cabins are unhosted, so that your stay will not be interrupted. We do not provide breakfast or meals. Should you decide to rent one or all of our country homes, we ask that you abide by the following rules:
Because our cabins are of historical frame construction, we have a no candle policy. We ask that you have no open flames inside or on the porches. We understand guests are allowed to smoke outside and to utilize the BBQ pits, but we do ask that you be very careful in helping to prevent fires. As much of the property is occupied by cattle, horses and wild animals including varmints, wasps, spiders, bugs, ants, chiggers, poison ivy, snakes and other country critters, we ask that you: Do not disturb the neighbors, two legged or otherwise. Do not approach the ranch animals, nor any 'native' animals. Do not attempt to pet, feed or give snacks to any animals. Cedars Cabins is not responsible for any injuries caused by the natural or man made elements that exist on a working ranch. Cell phone coverage varies, but T-Mobile works the least and ATT the best. Although you may see ranch and property contractors on the premises, they will try not to disturb you and we ask that you respect the property and privacy of Cedars Cabins and other guests on the premises. Guests are responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property. Be Careful! Cedars Cabins has 4 stocked ponds and lakes. Be especially careful with children around the barns, creeks and ponds (risks of drowning), and around the ranch animals (risk of being charged or kicked). Guests are expected to close the property upon their departure, if they are not aware of any other guests still on site and to close up the respective cabins as per the specific Closing Commandments that are provided separately. Cedars Cabins provides maid service before and after your stay, insuring our guests of excellent linens and a clean cabin. Reservation and Cancellation Policy: Guests do not have confirmed reservations until payment has been received. If you cancel your confirmed paid reservation, and Cedars Cabins is able to fill your room, your payment will be returned. Otherwise, your payment will be held for up to 6 months for your future rental except during Holiday or Antique Weeks when guests will not be entitled to a future rental. Should any cabins become uninhabitable, severely damaged, inoperable because of physical or mechanical failure or be taken off the market prior to your visit, Cedars Cabins will strive to provide a 60 day notice or as soon as the reservation conflict becomes apparent. At such time, Cedars Cabins will refund any payments so that affected guests can make alternative arrangements We truly hope your visit to Cedars Cabins will be enjoyable!
